Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we hear before a listing gets sent over

Answered directly, in the order they usually come up. If yours isn't here, email marketingteam@ecdreamer.com and we'll add it.

Getting started
How does this actually work?

You send us the listing photos you already have, we build a short cinematic motion video from those exact images, and you get back a finished file within two business days. No reshoot, no site visit, no new equipment on your end.

How many photos do you need?

We can build something from as few as two photos of a space. Five to eight across the property, covering the rooms you want featured, gives us the most to work with and produces the strongest result.

What do I actually get back?

A vertical video file sized for Instagram, TikTok and Reels, and a horizontal version sized for YouTube, your listing site, or email. You own both and can post them anywhere.

What's the turnaround?

Two business days from the time we receive your photos. No scan appointment to schedule, since there's nothing to visit.

Cost
What does the August promotion include?

Your first video this month is $180 USD, down from the standard $280 USD. Book a second video before the end of August and it's $90 USD.

Do you offer plans for agents or brokerages running multiple listings?

Yes. Volume and agency pricing is scaled to your monthly listing count, with a consistent motion style applied across the whole pipeline. Send us your typical monthly volume and we'll quote it directly.

Accuracy and compliance
Is the walkthrough physically accurate?

The video is generated motion built from your still photos, not a captured recording of the property. We build it to move the way a real walkthrough would and check it against the source photos before delivery, but it's a marketing piece, not a measured record of the space.

Do I need to disclose that the video is AI-generated?

Check with your own board or MLS, since the answer depends on where you're listing. Several US MLS systems and California's AB 723 now require a visible disclosure on AI-generated or AI-animated listing media, and NAR's own ethics standards point the same direction. Rules vary by country and by board, so confirm locally before posting.

We'll burn a disclosure label into the video at no extra charge if you want one there regardless of what your board requires. Ask when you send your photos.

Can I post this directly to my MLS listing?

That depends on your board's media rules, which vary by MLS and by country. It's built to be posted freely to social platforms, your own site, and email. For MLS-hosted fields specifically, check what your board accepts before uploading it there.

Matterport and 3D tours
Does this replace my Matterport tour?

No, and we wouldn't pitch it that way. A Matterport tour lets a buyer navigate a captured 3D space at their own pace, which is genuinely useful once they've decided to look closer at your listing.

What we build is the fifteen seconds before that decision gets made. A short cinematic video from your existing photos, designed to stop a scroll and send the viewer into the tour, MLS listing, or site you already have. Keep the tour. This is what gets it opened. See the full breakdown on our Matterport comparison page.

Why would I pay for this if I already have Matterport?

A Matterport tour only earns its keep if someone clicks into it, and a link sitting at the bottom of a listing page competes with everything else a buyer is scrolling past. Most tours we've seen referenced get a small fraction of the views the listing itself gets.

Separately, Zillow removed Matterport 3D tours from its listings in October 2025 following a licensing dispute between the companies. If any of your listings relied on that specific channel, the video format doesn't have the same restriction. It's a file, and it goes anywhere you post it.

How does the cost compare to a Matterport scan?

A hired Matterport scan commonly runs $200 to $400 USD per listing, before the recurring hosting fee that's billed for as long as the tour stays live. Our price is flat and one-time: $180 USD per listing through August, normally $280 USD, with no hosting fee and no subscription afterward.

Who this is for
Is this only for realtors?

No. Short-term rental hosts on Airbnb and similar platforms use the same service to turn existing listing photos into a walkthrough video for their listing and social channels.

Do you work with listings outside your home market?

Yes. The whole process runs from photos, so it works the same whether the listing is down the street or on the other side of the world. We've built videos for properties across North America, the UK, and the Gulf.

What if my listing photos aren't professional quality?

Send what you have. Clear, well-lit photos give the best result, but we can usually work with ordinary phone photos. If a specific set looks like it won't produce a usable video, we'll say so before starting rather than after.

Can you work with an old or off-market listing?

Yes. If you still have the photos, we can still build the video, even if the listing closed or went quiet months ago. No new access to the property is required.

Policies
Do you keep or reuse my listing photos?

We hold your source photos privately after delivery, in case you need a revision or want the video rebuilt later. They're not reused in our own marketing, not shown to other clients, and not used for anything beyond your project.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

Your choice. We'll revise it until it's right, or refund what you paid if you'd rather not continue. Either way, tell us what's off and we'll sort it quickly.

Still have a question?

Send us a note and we'll get back to you within one business day, or send your photos directly and we'll quote the job.
